In this session, candidates will learn how to code experiments and surveys in z-Tree.
z-Tree software is an open-source software and can be downloaded for FREE by following the instructions below.
1) Go to link: https://www.uzh.ch/ztree/ssl-dir/index.php
2) Click on “Obtain a license.”
3) Select all ‘Terms and Conditions.
4) Fill in your personal detaills: name, email id, etc.
5) For ‘I request for a license’ select ‘myself.’
6) You will receive a username & password in your email.
7) Use the username and password to login here: https://www.uzh.ch/ztree/ssl-dir/index.php, and download the latest version.
Eligibility Criteria: Bachelor’s degree and above can apply. Applications from all disciplines are welcome but participants are expected to be familiar with basic principles course in economics (see here https://eco.iiserb.ac.in/bs_programme.php). Knowledge of game theory will be an added advantage.
